When applying for a business tax receipt for a new business the following will be required:
Copy of the fictitious name or the Articles of Incorporation or LLC If you are naming your business anything other than your given name, you need to apply for a fictitious name or LLC at sunbiz.org before you can apply for your business tax receipt. We need a copy of your fictitious name, incorporated or LLC paperwork from Sunbiz.
Proof of Ownership or a copy of your lease If you own the property where your business will be located we will need a copy of proof of ownership, which can be found at Brevard County Property Appraiser’s Office.
NOTICE OF CUSTODIAN OF PUBLIC RECORDS: The City of Titusville has designated the City Clerk, Wanda Wells, its Custodian of Public Records pursuant to Chapter 119, Florida Statutes.
