The Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) of the City of Titusville, Florida met in regular session in City Hall Council Chamber located at 555 South Washington Avenue on Wednesday October 5, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.
Vice Chairman Richardson called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Present were Secretary Grant, Member Aton, Member Rice, Member Perez, Alternate Member Childs and Alternate Member Fayson. Chairwoman Speidel and Member Riley were absent. Also, in attendance were Senior Planner Eddy Galindo, Assistant City Attorney Chelsea Farrell, and Recording Secretary Laurie Dargie.
Secretary Grant made a motion to approve the minutes from the September 21, 2022 meeting. Member Perez seconded. There was a unanimous voice vote in favor.
Quasi-Judicial Confirmation Procedures
Conditional Use Permit (CUP) No. 6-2022- 1010 Norwood Avenue
Mr. Galindo gave an overview of this item.
Jody Wells of 1010 Norwood Avenue Titusville, Florida came to speak in favor of this item.
Steve Monroe, Engineer, of 3080 Brandywine Lane, Melbourne, Florida came to speak in favor of this item.
Discussion took place amongst the Planning and Zoning Commission members, Mr. Monroe, and staff.
Member Rice made a motion to approve Conditional Use Permit (CUP) No. 6-2022 as presented. Member Fayson seconded.

Member Rice gave a brief report as to the Titusville Environmental Commission’s action to request that the City of Titusville conduct stormwater monitoring on the outfalls that discharge to the Indian River Lagoon.
